Biography
Dr. Chun Hok Ho obtained his PhD from Department of Computing, Imperial College, London. His research interests include computer arithmetic, computer architecture, design automation and optimisation, parallel computation, digital signal processing and embedded systems. He is currently a senior manager in the the Architecture and Modeling section at SK hynix memory solutions, working on next generation low-power, high-performance, high-endurance storage architecture.
Dr. Ho was the recipient of the Stamatis Vassiliadis Awards from International Conference on Field Programmable Logic and Applications in 2007 and 2008. His PhD topic is customisable FPGA for floating point arithmetic.
He graduated with an Honours BEng degree, majoring in Computer Engineering, from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, in 2001. He obtained his M.Phil degree in Computer Science and Engineering in 2003 from the same university.
